Catherine Cleves

December 6, 1925 — September 9, 2013

Catherine Cleves (Nee Brake), 87, of Latonia, KY passed away peacefully on Monday, September 9, 2013. Catherine grew up in Latonia and graduated from Holy Cross High School. She was married in 1951 to her late husband Robert Cleves. Her and Robert were inseparable, and enjoyed doing everything together. Before Catherine lost her eye sight 14 years ago, she loved to work in her garden. She never let her blindness get her down, and she always had a smile or witty comment for everyone around. She was a wonderful mother and friend, and she loved her Atria Happy Hour Gang. Catherine is survived by her two daughters; Karen Rettig (Bob) of Independence, KY, and Amy Tasset (Tom) of Cincinnati, OH, grandchildren; Sam Rettig, Jonathan Rettig (Cassie Hill), Kelli Fulton (Scott), and Danny Tasset (Kristen), 3 great-grandchildren; Callie, Paisley, and Ted, and her loving sister Mary Dell List of Edgewood, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 10AM at Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell, KY. The Burial will follow the Mass at St. John Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to Redwood Rehabilitation Center at 71 Orphanage Road, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
