Sheredith Lea Girkin

Sheredith Lea (Bennett) Girkin, 66, of Independence, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2013. Sheredith worked as a server at Knotty Pine for 10 years and Walt's Hitching Post for 30 years. She was a loving mother to Tara Schuchter (Doug), Rory Hawkins (Harold Greenman), Feather Girkin, and Tiffany Girkin. Sheredith is also survived by her brother, Paul Bennett, as well as, her 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home.
