Charles H. Shumate

Charles Henry Shumate, of Florence, Kentucky passed away Wednesday March 6, 2013. Born August 26, 1934. Charles was a 1952 graduate of Holmes High School and a United States Army Veteran. He attended Latonia and Lakeside churches. The son of the late Charles and Anna Shumate. He is preceded in death by his brother, James Shumate. Survived by his loving wife Loretta Shumate. Loving brother to Bob Shumate (Ginger), Bill Shumate (Sue), Carol Canaday (Joe), Cheryl Rinaldi (Carl). Loving father to Tim Shumate (Wendy), Ken Shumate (Beth), Chris Shumate (Cindy), and Michael Shumate, Jill Newbern, Sheri Pinkerton, Rhonda Kirk, and Denise Hanks. Loved by many nieces and nephews and blessed with many loving grandchildren. Service Saturday March 9, 2013 at 10 am at the First Church of Christ, 6080 Camp Ernst Road, Burlington, Ky.
