Eleanor J. Overwine, 83, of Covington, KY passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Rosedale Green Nursing Facility in Covington, KY. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband John W. Overwine and 3 brothers; Robert Wagner, Richard Wagner, and Howard Wagner. She is survived by her children; John R. Overwine (Mary), and Jean Ann Buring (Mark), grandchildren; Matthew Overwine (Heidi), Meredith Myres (John), David Overwine, Neil Overwine, Nathan Overwine, Rachel Cofer (Landon), Maddie Buring, Lizzie Buring, and Torie Buring, and 3 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 10am until 12noon, with mass to follow at 12noon at Mother of God Church in Covington, KY. Burial will take place following mass at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington, KY. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to ALS Association Central and Southern Ohio Chapter at 11710 Old Henderson Road, Suite 221, Columbus, OH 43220.
