Shirley Redmond

Shirley died June 12, 2012. She was a member of Mother of God Church and served as a lector, Eucharistic Minister and on the Pastoral Council, the Liturgy Committee, the Adoration Committee and the Education Committee. She was a Big Sister and Foster Parent. She was a founding member of the Mainstrasse Village Association and served on the Covington Board of Adjustments. She was also a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Alliance for Catholic Urban Education. She is survived by her foster children: her daughter, Marie Abar; her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Julie Abar; her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Steve Kraemer; and by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild; also by her cousins Nora Sewell, Joy Rolfsen, Eileen Mehuron, and Joan Brockman(Mike). Visitation Monday from 10:30 am- 12 pm at Mother of God Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12pm. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery. Online Condolences may be sent to: middendorf-funeralhome.com.
