RUTEMILLER Sr., Robert Anthony, (Bob), (Rudy), (Peter Henry) On October 11, 2011 while with family in Tampa, Florida, short time after his 86th birthday. Juanita (Poland) (Rutemiller) Davis of Solana Beach CA mourns his death, as do their 5 children; Robert (Judy Marcotte) of Tampa FL, Lezlie (Mark Haines) Solana Beach CA, Denise (Jim Casale) of San Diego, CA, Brent (Ellen Sidle) of Phoenix, AZ, Brian (Annette Start) Rutemiller of Cincinnati, OH. Beloved Grandpa Rudy' to Nicole (Bradley Mills), Christine, Jennifer (Paul Gilbert), Mark, Elizabeth Rutemiller; Kim, Scott (Norma Samaniego) and Renee Miller; Ryan (Kenya Egelhoff) and Adam Davies; Theodore (T.C.), Shoshanna and Richie Rutemiller; Laura and Paul Rutemiller. Predeceased by his parents Bernard (d.1966) and Laura (Geisen) Rutemiller (d. 1970) and his sister Dorothy (d.2008) (Ivan Annear d.1975). Other surviving, caring friends include his cousin Alberta Pytlinski and beloved former wife Billie Haas. Mr. Rutemiller, a longtime resident of Edgewood, Ky was a member of St. Pius X Parish for many years. Mr. Rutemiller served his country as a corpsman on the USS Swenning in the Pacific, during WWII. After the war, his creative talents helped him build a successful business at Rudy's Flower Shop, formerly adjacent to Blessed Sacrament Church in Fort Mitchell. Rudy' was well known in the Gem and Mineral Society world as Peter Henry. He earned an impressive reputation as a Master Artist and Designer utilizing the Ancient Phoenician Method of wire sculpting to create exquisite jewelry pieces.
