Fred B. Schuefler 94 yrs. of age.He was born in Sandusky, Ohio. He received a Masters in Pharmacy from Ohio State University and worked at the Cleveland Clinic during his early career. He owned two pharmacies in Northern, Ohio. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. At the time of his death, he resided at the Madonna Manor senior community in Villa Hills, Kentucky. He was a former resident at St. Charles Care Center in Covington, Kentucky, and previously resided in Cape Coral, Florida, and before then in Kirtland, Ohio. His parents were the late Fred B. Scheufler Sr. and Laura Reinke Scheufler. His sister was the late Ida Mae Link Schofield of Sandusky, Ohio. His first wife, Naomi Kleinfelter Scheufler of Kirtland, Ohio, died in 1964 and his daughter, Joan Marie Scheufler of Upper Arlington, Ohio, died in 2003. He is survived by his beloved wife, Caroline Riester Diedrichs Scheufler of Madonna Manor in Villa Hills, KY, and the following children: Marilyn (James) Saad of Dublin, Ohio, Janice (David) Bauer of Cincinnati, Ohio and Michele Ann Scheufler, of Westlake, Ohio; and Gary (Peggy) Diedrichs of Sausalito, California, Raymond (Patricia) Diedrichs of Chestertown, Maryland and Robert (Bert) Diedrichs of Chardon, Ohio. 6 grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends. Visitation Monday from 10-11 am at St. Charles Care Center Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Burial All Souls Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. MIDDENDORF FUNERAL HOME FT.
