Matthew Ralph Bohmer

Matthew Ralph Bohmer 43 of Florence passed on July 5th. He was an English Teacher at Gilbert A. Dater High School in Cincinnati; Beechwood High School and Dixie Heights High School. He coached the Lloyd H.S. freshmen football team; Beechwood H.S. freshmen football team and was also head varsity basketball coach; Dixie Heights H.S assistant varsity football coach and freshman basketball coach and Wyoming H.S assistant varsity football coach. He was also soccer, softball and basketball coach for his kids teams at Blessed Sacrament. Matt played Bengal Tigers-little league football; Covington Turners-little league basketball; Saint Augustine-grade school basketball; Boys Club-little league baseball; Beechwood H.S.- football, basketball and baseball. Matt also played baseball all four years at Northern Kentucky University. Beloved husband of Melissa A. Bohmer (nee Cornett) of Florence, loving father of four children Tabitha Tirey; Isaac Bohmer; Hannah Bohmer and Chloe Bohmer all of Florence. Beloved son of LaVerne Bohmer of Florence and loving brother of Joan Fischer-Cain of Taylor Mill. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph W. Bohmer in 2009. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Middendorf Funeral Home Ft. Wright With a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Church in Covington. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell.
