**Carol Rosemary Moore (née Geers), **1934 – 2024** With unwavering faith, Carol Moore lived a life of profound devotion to her family, her Catholic faith, and her community. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, she passed away peacefully at Madonna Manor, with her husband of 66 years, Morgan, by her side. Carol was the proud mother of eight children, raising seven sons and one daughter with dedication and love. She is survived by her husband Morgan; daughter, Mary (Tom); sons, Ken (Leanne), Marty (Renee), Patrick (Mary), Robert (Christa), Tim (Marcy), Kevin (Tammy), and Brian (Sherry); along with 26 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius and Clara, and her sister, Patricia Van Sant. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1934, Carol grew up in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. She attended Villa Madonna High School before pursuing a nursing career, graduating from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. Carol's professional life included a beloved role as a nurse with Dr. Mitchell Ede, a dermatologist in downtown Cincinnati. Her life was one of multifaceted talent and commitment. She was an accomplished pianist, violinist, artist, family barber, disciplinarian, and tutor. A devout Catholic, Carol dedicated much of her time to her parish, singing in the Blessed Sacrament Church choir and participating in numerous Catholic pilgrimages. Throughout her life, Carol's greatest vocation was her devotion to her family. After her children were grown, she continued to care for her grandchildren, always offering her time to help her children. She found joy in family vacations, relishing the moments spent with each of her children and grandchildren. Carol was also an active member of her community, serving on the Board of Education at Christ the King Parish in Lexington, KY, and at Blessed Sacrament Parish. Her legacy of love, faith, and selfless service will continue to inspire all who knew her. Visitation Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 8:30 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church.
