Charles L. Collett

Charles “Charlie” L. Collett, age 86, of Fort Mitchell, KY passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023.  He was a retired supervisor for CG&E, an avid volleyball player and loved to travel including spending winters in Clearwater, FL.  Charlie bravely served our country was a member of the United States Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Nancy Collett (nee Briede); sister, (the late) Barbara Dedden; nephew, Rodney Krohman and family; sisters-in-law, Sue Craven (the late Everett), (the late Sally and Ed Hill; brothers-in-law, (the late) Joe Briede (Mary), Jerry Briede, (the late) Jimmy Briede (Barbara) and (the late) Michael Briede.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Middendorf Funeral Home (3312 Madison Pike, Ft. Wright, KY 41017) from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 12 noon.  Full military honors will be rendered at the funeral home concluding the service.  Memorial contributions in his name are suggested to any local YMCA.
