Cristina P. Sychay

With immense sadness, the passing of Cristina P. Sychay (Amah), 85, of Edgewood, Kentucky, is announced. She was born on January 20, 1940 in Guinobatan, Albay, Phillipines and peacefully passed on March 15, 2025.

Cristina is survived by her spouse, Eduardo R. Sychay; her loving children, Maria Sychay Bradish (Mike), Gerard Sychay (Sarah), and her grandchildren, Christopher, Henry, Claire, Grace, and Theodore.

Cristina had a great love for her family which could only be surpassed by her love for Jesus. It was evident to everyone who met her that she was a great representative of Christ through her kindness and hospitality. She had so much love for the Lord that it overflowed into others lives.

Visitation will be at 10 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY, 41017.

Cristina’s life will forever be remembered and live through the hearts of all the people who loved her. May she rest in peace in the glory of God.
