David Lee (Dave) Cummings passed peacefully to Eternal Life on August 6, 2024, at the age of 94 in his Edgewood home under the loving care of his family. He was a member of St Pius X Church for 60 years, Knights of Columbus 4th degree Father Bealer Council 3908. Born in Chicago, Illinois May 28,1930 to Virginia and Ollie Cummings. His second 20 plus year career was spent managing several manufacturing facilities around Northern Kentucky. Dave loved spending time with his family, Sunday being the focus of family grill outs at his home. In retirement he enjoyed most, snow birding to Siesta Key, annual golf trips to Brightleaf and Sterns with his in-laws, Scotch and cocktails with his friends, both too many to mention. Dave was a doer and always willing to lead a project! He "co-managed" seemingly unending painting and fixing up projects for his children's homes as they raised their families. He was always there before you asked! , Dave was a man of faith and integrity, a great example of a life to lead, a life well lived, a loving husband, father and grandfather to his family.
Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lucille (Brake) Cummings of 69 years, Brother-in-Law Joe Brake, Sister-in-laws Rita Brake and Marcie Schwartz.
