Jean Elizabeth Hamilton

Jean Elizabeth Hamilton, age 91, of Villa Hills, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Jean was born to the late Joseph and Theresa Clinger of Augusta, KY.A devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Jean will be remembered for her generous spirit, kind heart and absolutely delicious fried chicken. She loved to laugh and was often involved in a practical joke. She was very creative; crafting with her friends, sisters, nieces, daughters, and even the boys at times, was a way for her to bring people together. 

She is survived by her loving children, Debbie Bailey (Jack), Teresa Banet (the late Robert), Bill Hamilton (Heidi), Angie Smith (Ronnie), Barb DeLong (John), Jeff Hamilton (Donna), David Hamilton (Holly) and Laurie Leonhard (Jason); siblings,Kenny Clinger (Peggy) and Ann Becker; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who were much like her own children. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Carl Hamilton (2015);twin sister, Joan Nelson; brother, Billy Clinger; granddaughter, Jessica Bailey and grandson, Joey Hamilton.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Church (Crescent Springs) on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at the link below.
