Kathleen Marie Rademacher

Kathleen Marie Rademacher, age 86, passed away on February 26th, 2025. She was born on April 28th, 1938, in Covington, KY to the late Marie and Victor Current. Kae grew up in Covington and graduated from St. Benedict’s Commercial High School. Kae was a homemaker along with working various part times jobs throughout her life including medical transcription at St. Elizabeth hospital North for 20+ years. She is survived by her loving husband Jim Rademacher and their children Jim, Jeff (Janice) and Joe. She is also survived by her brother Frank Current, her grandchildren Katie, Stephen, Shannon, Sarah, Brian, and Jeramiah. and 15 great-grandchildren. Kathleen was preceded in death by her siblings Marlene, Newt, Phyllis, Dan and Jackie. Kae and Jim had been married for 64 years!! Kae had been suffering from Alzheimer’s for the better part of 12 years, with Jim doing a wonderful job of care giving during her illness. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, from 10-11am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 627 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011. Mass of Christian burial will take place following the visitation at 11am. Burial will be at Mother of God cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to St. John Church.
