Mario A. Pancino, III

September 26, 1975 — July 21, 2024

Mario A. Pancino III, 48 years of age, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday night, July 21, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Mario was born in Glendale, CA. He graduated with the class of 1993 from Gordon H. Garrett high school in Charleston, SC and was a proud Falcon. He worked as a Product Specialist at Cornerstone in Fairfield, Ohio for 10 years.

Mario’s greatest passion was bowling. He mastered the sport when he bowled his first 300 game at Gilmore Lanes on December 26, 2023. His bowling family was an important part of his life. Mario was a Director on the Greater Hamilton USBC Board, League President of the Summer Thursday Mix-Ups, and Vice-President of the Don Romer Memorial League. Mario was also a huge supporter of youth bowlers. He served on the Greater Hamilton USBC scholarship committee and encouraged bowling ball and equipment donations to the high school youth bowlers at Gilmore Lanes in Fairfield, OH.

Mario also loved NASCAR and was fondly called the “StatMan” in his NASCAR forums.

Mario was the loving son of Patricia Pancino (nee Riordan) and the late John M. Pancino. He was an amazing brother to sisters Heather Ranft (Tom) and Erinn Dawley and bonus brother Kevin Felty. He was the absolute golden standard of what an uncle should be to his nephew Stuart Smith (Amanda), niece Hailey Smallwood, nephew Tommy Ranft, bonus niece Kari Long (Jason), bonus nephew Austin Smith (Kaci), great nephew Grayson Marshall and great nieces Isabelle Long, Maddy Long, Skylar Vernon, Katherine Smith, Charlee Smith, and Salem Smith. Mario is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, all of whom he loved dearly.

Mario was preceded in death by his father, John M. Pancino, and his grandparents Stan Riordan, Enola Riordan, Mario A. Pancino, Sr., and Virginia Pancino.

A celebration of life for Mario will be on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Middendorf Funeral Home, 3312 Madison Pike, Fort Wright, KY 41017. Family and Friends may gather from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm with the service beginning at noon.

Mario’s family wishes to thank everyone for all the love and support given to Mario during his battle. He fought bravely.
