Marjorie M. Goetz

Marjorie (Margie) M. Goetz (nee Scheper), age 92, of Fort Mitchell, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.  She was a loving and devoted wife of 65 years to (the late) Eugene “Lefty” Goetz; Margie leaves behind her loving children, Pam Collett, Jerry Goetz (Jan), Greg Goetz (Tina), and Amy Blanchet (Rick); her sister Marian McCoy and Brother-In-Law Hank McCoy; Sisters-In-Law Marianne Scheper and Deb Scheper; her grandchildren Julie Collett, Christina Bush (Brandon), John Collett (Jennifer), Jessica Cicchinelli (Chris), Jerry Goetz (Sarah), Elizabeth Goetz, Joseph Goetz, Maria Goetz (Angel), Gregory Goetz, Michelle Goetz and Amanda Blanchet; her 10 great grandchildren Emma, Jaime, Lauren, Caleb, Ava, L.C., Max, Macie, Lindsey and Ryan,  and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Lisa Marie Blanchet.  A devoted and caring housewife, Margie also enjoyed walking, reading, and above all else spending quality time with her husband Lefty, family, and many friends.  Margie had a warm, caring, generous, and loving personality always welcoming visitors, guests, and friends into her home with graciousness and open arms. She cared deeply about making others know they were welcomed, accepted, and cared for when in her presence. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Church from 8:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial begins at 10:00 AM.  Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Redwood Rehabilitation Center 71 Orphanage Rd.
