Mark A. "Chet" Adkins

Mark A.“Chet” Adkins passed away suddenly on Friday, October 25, 2024 at the age of 65. He was born on January 11, 1959; son of Richard and Nancy Adkins. He was a customs import clerk at DHL for 35 years, also having worked at Gates Rubber Co. for 32 years, and as a deputy jailer at the Boone County Jail for 10 years. He enjoyed cruising with his wife, meticulously caring for his lawn, and was an avid football fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. What truly brought him the most joy was being together with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Mark was growing in his relationship with the Lord and had been attending First Church of Christ. He lived well, loved well and will be greatly missed!

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Adkins (nee Sturgeon); children, Lori (Paul) Stephenson, Jason (Ana) Adkins, and Christopher Adkins; brother, Bryan (Amy) Adkins; grandchildren, Bryn Stephenson, Morgan Stephenson, Ayden Adkins, Ryder Adkins, and Mason Adkins; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. 

Visitation will be held at Middendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the Funeral Service begins at 1:00 PM.
