Mark Donald Wintersheimer, 58 years of age, passed away from natural causes at his residence. Mark was born on June 4, 1962 and was a graduate of Covington Latin High School, where he was a Pontifical Altar Server for the Bishop. He graduated from Thomas More College and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1985. Mark was licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Ohio and began his career as an Assistant Attorney General in Frankfort, Kentucky. He later became an Assistant Kenton County Attorney and went on to start his own law practice in the Northern Kentucky area. He was also a computer expert, performing consulting work for many small businesses. Mark was the loving son of Justice Donald Carl and Alice Rabe Wintersheimer of Covington and dear brother of Lisa Wintersheimer Michel (Tim), Craig Wintersheimer (Susan), Amy Wintersheimer Findley (Chris), and Blaise Wintersheimer. He also was the proud uncle of Kyndal, Kirsten, Kassidy, and Karley Michel, Adam, Claire, and Elizabeth Wintersheimer, and Ashley, Jacob, and Allison Findley. Services were private at Holy Cross Church in Covington. Burial was at Mother of God Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright handled the arrangements.
