Nancy Sue Kuchle, nee Black, was born on October 14, 1934 in Covington, Kentucky. Her husband Ralph J. Kuchle and daughter, Karen Kuchle Swofford died previously.
She attended St. John Elementary School (graduating in 1948), Notre Dame Academy (graduating in 1952) and Villa Madonna College (now Thomas More University) where she graduated in 1956.
Nancy taught elementary school in Cincinnati, Ohio, Morton, Illinois and Denver, Colorado.
She leaves her son Kurt R. Kuchle (Carolyn) of Kewanee, Illinois, her daughter Kathy A. Clark (Gary) of Canton, Illinois, her son Kenneth W. Kuchle of Covington, Kentucky and her son Kevin C. Kuchle (Shannon) of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. David Lee Black of Longboat Key, Florida, five granddaughters: Kihei Murphy of Covington, Kentucky, Madison Clark of Madison, Wisconsin, Mollie Clark of Naples, Florida, Julia Kuchle of Tucson, Arizona, and Kathryn Kuchle of Burlington, Kentucky, two grandsons: Kyle and Nathan Kuchle of Denver, Colorado and three great-grandsons: James Murphy, Jr. and Connor Murphy of Covington, Kentucky and Jonas Luis Clark of Naples, Florida.
Nancy was a very good student, an excellent teacher and outstanding wife and mother.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Fort Wright, Kentucky 41011 from 10:00am to 11:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Notre Dame Academy, Holy Cross High School or Thomas More University.
