Patricia Ann Egan

Patricia Ann Egan (nee Kelly) 91 years of age passed away peacefully at Inspirations Assisted Living in Florence, KY. Patricia was the dedicated wife of the late James F. Egan (1985). Loving mother of James M. (Brenda) Egan of Taylor Mill, KY, Debra A. (Steve) Glassford of Petersburg, KY, Diane M. (Gary) Uphus of New Port Richey, FL, Susan L. (Greg) Hollenkamp of Erlanger, KY, and Jeffery L. (Lisa) Egan of Perry Park, KY.  Devoted grandmother to thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary E. Byrns of Crestview Hills, KY.  Pat always remarked that she was “doubly blessed” having her five children - each of whom were born on a Sunday.  A newspaper article shortly after the birth of her youngest child reaffirmed the uniqueness of that fact.  So, fittingly, she passed on that very day of the week - Sunday.  Pat was continuously active, from being a cheerleader in high school, to working outside the home for Kenner Toys & Provident Bank, and teaching exercise as a senior citizen at her longtime residence of Panorama Apts. in Covington, KY.  She will always be loved, remembered, and deeply missed.  Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023 at Mother of God Church from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Mother of God Cemetery. As an option to flowers the family has asked for memorial donations to: American Cancer Society or a Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
