Paul Gordon Stephenson

Paul G. Stephenson, Sr. passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the age of 83. He was born on March 24, 1940; son of Albert and Ida Belle Stephenson. He was a retired independent contractor for Sears and Mills Fence Company and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an active member of Union Baptist Church which he attended since childhood, also serving as a Trustee and in countless ways behind the scenes. He was a humble man with a true servant heart and desire to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert Stephenson; sisters, Margie Patterson, Shirlee Stephenson and Ruth Clarke. He is survived by his daughter, Ida (Matt) Probst; son, Paul (Lori) Stephenson, Jr.; sister, Linda (James) Duvall; his granddaughters, Bryn Stephenson, Morgan Stephenson, and Jesse Probst; and many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 11 AM - 1 PM with service to follow at 1 PM at Union Baptist Church (Union, KY). Burial will follow at Big Bone Baptist Cemetery (Union, KY).
