Robert E. Blanchet

Robert “Doc” Edward Blanchet, age 87 passed away at his residence on June 15th, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 16th, 1936 to the late Dorothy and Charles Edward Blanchet. Robert was a retired union electrician and a member of IBEW 212. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Joyce Blanchet and their children Linda (Tim) Parker, Rick (Amy) Blanchet, Barbara (Steve) Goderwis and Rob (Sandy) Blanchet. Robert is also survived by nine loving grandchildren Dr. Ryan (Ashley) Parker, Stephanie Parker, Amanda Blanchet, Lauren (Franklin Graves) Goderwis, Nicole Goderwis, Michelle Goderwis, Emilee (Elliott) Brazell, Josh Blanchet, Holly Blanchet. He is also survived by five great grandchildren Liam, Isla, Calum, Aria, and Rhia Parker. He leaves behind his brothers Ron (Lois) Blanchet, Dave (Debbie) Blanchet, Gene (Ellie) Blanchet and sister-in-law Pat Blanchet.

He was preceded in death by grandchild Lisa Marie Blanchet and his brother Gary Blanchet.

A devoted Catholic and long time parishioner of St. Pius X Church, the visitation will be Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 from 9-11am at St. Pius X Church, 348 Dudley Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017. Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 11am at St. Pius X Church. Burial will take place on Monday, June 24th at 10am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018.
