Sara E. "Sally" Mando

Sara E. “Sally” Mando (nee Silva) 97 years of age passed away peacefully Tuesday with loved ones by her side. Sally was the loving wife of Lee F. Mando who died in 2016. Loving mother of Jeffrey Mando (Fran), Margee "Meg" Haas (John), and Julie Heidrich (Rich). Loving grandmother of Meghan Mando Garmon (Landyn), Molly Mando, Missy Mando, Matthias Mando, Mitchell Heidrich (Jamie), Allie Heidrich Blau (Tyler), Lindsay Haas, and Stuart Haas. Beloved great-grandmother to Willa Garmon, Eli Garmon, Hudson Blau, Georgia Blau, and Quinn Heidrich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.   

Sally was a ticket agent with American Airlines before starting her family. She was a devoted Catholic.  Sally loved playing bridge and spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.  Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs. Mass of Christian Burial will follow  at 11:00 am. Burial will be at St. Stephen Cemetery. Middendorf Funeral Home in Ft. Wright is handling the arrangements.
