Rudolf Eismann, 88, of Taylor Mill, KY and formerly of Fort Wright, KY, passed away on June 16, 2022. He was born in Dorotheenau, Germany, immigrated to the United States in 1954 as a journeyman carpenter, and spent most of his career as a construction superintendent for Monarch Construction until his retirement in 1996. He is responsible for the construction of many buildings that currently exist in the Greater Cincinnati area, especially at Northern Kentucky University, University of Cincinnati, and Saint Elizabeth Hospital. He was a member of the Catholic Kolping Society for 67 years, fervent parishioner of Saint Agnes Church since 1960, and frequently shared his time and talents for the betterment of the community. Rudolf is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret Stricker Eismann; children Paul (Pamela) Eismann of Florence, KY, Janet (Charles) Lentz of Reading, PA, Michael (Michelle) Eismann of Beavercreek, OH, Ronald (Michele) Eismann of Nicholasville, KY, and Darlene (Phillip) Tierney of Cincinnati, OH; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Maria Eismann; brothers Helmut, Franz Josef, and Hermann; and sister Johanna, all in Germany. He is survived by his sisters Gertrud, Maria, Dorothea, and Agnes, also in Germany, and dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at 10:30 to 11:30 AM on Monday, June 20 at Saint Agnes Church, 1680 Dixie Highway, Ft. Wright, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will directly follow at 11:30 AM along with burial in St. John Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to St. Agnes Church or the local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
