Dave Middendorf

5th Generation
Owner/President, Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

With over three decades of experience as a funeral service professional, Dave was compelled to open Middendorf Funeral Home by both his mind, and his heart.

“I’ve always felt that funeral directors should be willing to serve, and give as much as they can in a family’s time of need. That he or she should be attentive to the smallest details, each of which means so much to the family being served. With those intentions, I opened Middendorf Funeral Home in June of 2007. In doing so, I called upon the collective wisdom of the five generations of Middendorf family members who have cared for the bereaved and their loved one. With all of them standing in the background of my daily life, I am in excellent company.”

Dave considers his immediate family to be excellent company too. His wife Michelle, and his four children, Holly, Noah, Sophie and Addie all spend time together with their loving canine companions, Jack and Jill. Dave also enjoys sports, both as a spectator and an enthusiastic participant.
